:Firstly, Santa Fe is not a small city, it is the State Capital of New Mexico and for an example of Precedent, the State Capital of Idaho (which has a similar population to New Mexico), Boise, has a Wikipedia Article about it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_McLean, and that Wikipedia Article has not been deleted, and, to what I can tell, the last discussion about deletion for that article was in 2019, before she was elected mayor. She has not been put on national news and Michael Garcia has not been put on national news, but they have both been put on several major State Outlets for their states. As well as that, this specifically refers to only amounts of a few articles.
