AUTOMATED FINANCE APP DEPLOYMENT VIA ANSIBLE |
After being away for over two weeks to take on Software Engineering examinations, I resumed back to piled-up DevOps projects with even tighter deadlines than I’ve ever experienced before. This sharpened my skills in delivery and deadline management. First, I picked up the Ansible projects as the welcome package. |
I completed the deployment of a Mini Finance Application using a production-grade Ansible workflow. This project served as a deep dive into advanced configuration management and strict security practices against man-in-the-middle attacks. |
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: |
🔹 Configuration Management: Developed modular Ansible playbooks to automate Nginx web server setup and application deployment. |
🔹 Security Hardening: Configured strict SSH authentication and managed secure repository cloning using SSH Agent Forwarding. |
🔹 Code Quality: Integrated ansible-lint and pre-commit to maintain high standards of YAML syntax and FQCN (Fully Qualified Collection Names). |
🔹 Environment Isolation: Managed the entire DevOps toolchain within a dedicated Python virtual environment for reproducibility. |
