Marry Me (2022) Director: Kat Coiro Genre: Comedy, Music, Romance | Runtime: 112 Minutes Cast: Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Maluma, John Bradley, Sarah Silverman Jennifer Lopez starred in one of the most popular movies on Netflix in 2023, The Mother. However, a year prior, she starred in Marry Me, a romantic comedy, which is precisely the genre of movie fans of Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson are used to watching. Global music superstar Kat Valdez was set to marry fellow musician Bastian in front of a worldwide audience. But after learning of Bastian’s unfaithfulness, she impulsively marries Charlie, a math teacher, a stranger amongst the crowd. Bad Boys for Life (2020) Director: Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy | Runtime: 124 Minutes Cast: Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Kate del Castillo, Alexander Ludwig Seventeen years after the release of Bad Boys 2, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith returned to reprise their iconic roles as Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey. However, the most significant difference was the absence of director Michael Bay. An aging Marcus and Mike are confronted by a new threat on the streets of Miami, a ruthless cartel run by a mother and her son.
