In The Shadows emerged from Houston, Texas in 2024 at the crossroads of horror-goth, darkwave, and synthwave - a sound they describe as "Depeche Mode colliding with a vampire bathed in crimson neon." The trio - vocalist J Horror, multi-instrumentalist FuZaBeast (lead guitar, synthesizers, programming), and bassist Marz Only - crafts music designed to explore the shadows of the human psyche through haunting melodies, atmospheric soundscapes, and lyricism steeped in horror mythology, vampiric lore, and the darker frequencies of human experience. |

The band debuted with their self-titled EP in 2024, establishing themselves as a potent live force in Houston's underground gothic scene almost immediately. They followed it with their debut LP, Salvation, released January 20, 2026 - an 11-track opus featuring standout cuts "In Darkened Corners," "Order of the Rose," "Hechizo De Bruja," "Vampire Blood," and "For the Beautiful People." The album arrived distributed via TuneCore across all major platforms, with "Hechizo De Bruja" receiving radio airplay on BFF.fm's celebrated darkwave program The Hanging Garden Radio Showin March 2026. |

Live, In The Shadows are a theatrical, high-energy proposition that has become a fixture of the South Texas underground circuit. Their nominations for Best Local Band and Best Live Performance Support at the 2025 SLM (Support Local Music) Awards - alongside a slot performing at the ceremony itself at Scout Bar - marked an early benchmark in their hometown recognition. Beyond Houston, the band has shared stages with nationally recognized acts including NITE, The Crüxshadows, Aurelio Valtaire & Ex-VoTo, Witch Hands, and Academy Order. A headline engagement at New World Tampa in January 2026, presented by the renowned Communion After Dark production, and a Night Creature Promotions-presented date in Laredo, Texas demonstrated a regional reach already extending well beyond their home city. |

May 2026 sees the band perform on World Goth Day Eve at the historic Haltom Theater in the Dallas/Fort Worth area alongside darkwave legends The Crüxshadows and NITE - their highest-profile billing to date and a clear signal of the trajectory they're on. With a debut LP in the world and a growing national touring footprint, In The Shadows are arriving right on schedule. |
