It connects the city of [[Kawasaki, Kanagawa|Kawasaki]] in [[Kanagawa Prefecture]] with the city of [[Kisarazu, Chiba|Kisarazu]] in [[Chiba Prefecture]], and forms part of [[Route 409 (Japan)|National Route 409]].
