My inexperience with Wikipedia messed up my attempt to reinstate the category "Public observances in Israel". I had previously added this category to replace the existing one "Public holidays in Israel" which is most inappropriate for a memorial day. Someone deleted my replacement, but I believe it is an important category. If there are no objections, and if no one has already done so, I propose to revert the deletion so that "Public observances in Israel" is reinstated.
