first, The name of this article should be changed to "Temruqo" instead of "Temryuk" because the name "Temryuk" is a wrong and Russified translation of the real name of the prince, Temruqo. while all the other Circassian princes has their names in written in Circassian format, so this one should be too. Second, in Circassian oral sources and traditional folk songs cite a nickname for him, which is "The Brave". Like other Kabardian princes, such as [[Sholokh the Mighty]] and [[Beslan the Fat]], it would be suitable for Temruqo's article to be named "Temruqo the Brave". |
