Yes, the links in the archive page [[Talk:Ethel_Hedgeman_Lyle/Archive_1]] to Howard University use Hedgemon, but OTOH, the "Who's Who in Colored America" (1927) (https://www.google.com/books/edition/Who_s_who_in_Colored_America/o_USAAAAMAAJ) says Hedgeman.
