Additionally, Netflix India dropped two gripping Originals: Season 2 of the Punjabi crime thriller Kohrra and the Hindi psychological drama Accused, a rare Netflix India title that deals with LGBTQ themes. N = Netflix Original New Indian Movies on Netflix: February 2026 Yash Raj Films Valentine’s Collection Language: Hindi Genre: Romance The Yash Raj Films special events that began in November 2025 concluded in romantic fashion. The eight days leading up to Valentine’s Day saw one older YRF movie added to the Netflix catalogue each day. Meri Pyaari Bindu and Ishaqzaade are underrated gems. He marries a wealthy woman named Charulatha, but it turns out she wasn’t being completely honest, either. Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil (2026) Languages: Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, & Telugu Runtime: 112 Minutes Director: Nithish Sahadev Cast: Jiiva, Thambi Ramaiah, Ilavarasu Genre: Comedy, Drama | Added to Netflix: February 11 The night before a big village wedding, the bride’s next-door neighbor dies unexpectedly. It falls on village leader Jeevarathnam to juggle both a wedding and funeral when neither family wants to compromise on which event takes prominence. Fights ensue, someone gets possessed, and a rival politician uses the chance to score points ahead of the upcoming election. This is not Jeevarathnam’s day. Gevi (2025) Language: Tamil Runtime: 130 Minutes Director: Tamil Dhayalan Cast: Aadhavan, Sheela Rajkumar, Jacquline Lydia Genre: Social Issue Drama | Added to Netflix: February 14 In Tamil Dhayalan’s independent directorial debut, corruption leaves a remote village without medical care. When a woman’s health is endangered during labor, her community rallies together to save her. Chatha Pacha (2026) Languages: Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, & Telugu Runtime: 131 Minutes Director: Adhvaith Nayar Cast: Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, Vishak Nair Genre: Action, Comedy, Sports | Added to Netflix: February 18 Inspired by their childhood love of WWE, three adult brothers start a professional wrestling league in their hometown. But is Fort Kochi ready for what goes on inside the squared circle? The main cast spent three months training on how to perform this theatrical style of wrestling without hurting themselves (or each other). Padmaavat (2018) Languages: Hindi, Tamil, & Telugu Runtime: 162 Minutes Director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali Cast: Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor Genre: Historical Drama | Added to Netflix: February 23 This lavish historical drama from Heeramandi-creator Sanjay Leela Bhansali stars Deepika Padukone as a 13th-century Indian queen so renowned for her beauty that the new Sultan of Delhi (played by Padukone’s husband Ranveer Singh) tries to claim her as his own. More than its grand scale and opulent staging, Padmaavat is unfortunately best-remembered for the false rumors about its story pre-release that led threats of violence against Bhansali and Padukone. Accused (2026) N Languages: Hindi, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Tamil, & Telugu Runtime: 107 Minutes Director: Anubhati Kashyap Cast: Konkona Sen Sharma, Pratibha Rana, Mashhoor Amrohi Genre: Psychological Drama | Added to Netflix: February 27 Tough but talented London surgeon Geetika is hit with an anonymous sexual harassment allegation right as her career is poised to take off. As additional complaints surface, paranoia takes hold, threatening Geetika’s marriage to Meera. With Meera’s own pediatrics career in limbo, she begins to wonder how well she really knows her wife. Following his transfer to a new station in rural Punjab, Garundi and his new commanding officer Inspector Dhanwant Kaur (Mona Singh) find themselves entangled in the case of a murdered woman whose connections entwine with the cops’ own personal lives.
