The track “Do You Feel It?” received support on BBC Radio 1, where DJ John Digweed cited it as one of his favourite records of 1996 during the Essential Selection programme. The track circulated widely among progressive house DJs during the mid-1990s club scene.
Soundsation formed in Bournemouth during the mid-1990s, a period when progressive house was developing across the UK club scene. The group released early material including "Peace & Joy" (1994) on their own SOS Recordings label.
