During April 2026, Turkey held its Blue Homeland-2026 (Mavi Vatan-2026) military exercise. The exercise took place from 3 April to 9 April, across the Black Sea, Aegean Sea and Eastern Mediterranean. About 120 ships, 50 aircraft, and 15,000 personnel took part in the exercise, that involved the navy, air force, land forces, and coast guard.
