On 18 July 2025, the BBC officially announced that [[Julie Wilson Nimmo]], [[Andrew Agnew (actor)|Andrew Agnew]], [[Kim Tserkezie]] and [[Juliet Cadzow]] would reprise their roles as Miss Hoolie, PC Plum, Penny Pocket and Edie McCredie, respectively.
