The reviewer compared the album to American singer [[Mereba]]’s ''[[The Breeze Grew a Fire]]'' and Cleo Reed’s ''Cuntry''. Angel Cook at ''Earmilk'' wrote that Ederra's vocals were "delicate", "sweet", "airy", and "soulful".
