Kia ora, I have just discovered that the Connection Team have added a plugin to Wikipedia that allows users to create events. This looks like a really cool feature; you can see it in action at the top of the [[Event:Bay Area Meetup April 2026|Bay Area Meetup events]]. |

I'm keen to use it for NZ events, but it requires an admin to grant me the campaignevents-organize-events right. Would you be able to do this? If it proves useful we should also consider adding other WANZ people and NZ meetup organisers. |
