The first female-female kiss that is known to have been shown on British TV occured in the 1970 adaption of Jean-Paul Satre's ''The Roads to Freedom'', episode 5. [https://www.bbc.com/historyofthebbc/lgbtq/lgbtq-timeline] It would seem that one of the characters involved in that - Ivich (Alison Fiske) - is portrayed as being attracted to women, so may put into contention the first TV 'lesbian' kiss occuring in ''Girl'', 1974.
