Suspected sockpuppets
These users have extensive overlap on greyhound-racing and highly niche sports biography articles. Across multiple articles, both accounts demonstrate similar editorial approaches, particularly in condensing or removing material based on scope, summary style, relevance, notability, and UNDUE weight. These accounts repeatedly take complementary actions, with one editing and then the other following it up with sourced content shortly after. There is also overlap in dispute-related activity, and both accounts appear in at least one deletion discussion involving a niche sports biography, taking similar source/notability-based positions.
Examples:
Harringay Stadium
*ApricotFoot removes content described as "unreferenced and not notable"
*Racingmanager adds references and sourced material shortly after
Greyhound racing
*ApricotFoot removes content.
*Racingmanager adds references and sourced material shortly after
Abingdon School
* Racingmanager is heavily involved in reverting and arguing notability in a dispute with another user
*ApricotFoot, with minimal prior involvement on the page, issues a warning template to the same user shortly after
Additionally, ApricotFoot’s activity ceased around the time of a recent DRN while Racingmanager has since resumed editing after a period of relative inactivity. I am not asserting causation, but including this as additional context.
I am therefore requesting review of a possible behavioural connection. JasonGen (talk) 05:52, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
:Further info
:Multiple files uploaded by ApricotFoot and described as "Own work" match photos published in the book The History of Oxford Stadium.
:Examples:
:• 2002 greyhound El Ronan is a cropped version of a photograph appearing on page 67, with identical subjects and composition.
:• Tims Crow is identical to an image published on page 68.
:Similarly, Racingmanager has uploaded photos appearing in that book, such as Oxford Stadium 2000 executive suites and restaurant, appearing on page 65.
:Relevantly, Racingmanager stated on Commons that some of their uploads were "from my book The History of Oxford Stadium". * Acknowledging that both accounts have a substantial history of contributions, a number of items in the report appear to take this beyond coincidence. endorse – Please confirm whether there is any technical connection between the two reported accounts. *Surprisingly, a follow up check confirms User:MaugerFundin and User:Pipesmoking Legend as well; I have added them above. The data is extremely unambiguous here. These accounts have over 60,000 edits between them... I'm not sure what this person is trying to accomplish. I've blocked and tagged those accounts as well.
