:Further context: last year, I argued against using YouTuber as the disambiguator tag on Stevens' page, where I raised the hypothetical: "if a television personality had become famous on one specific television network, and then left that network, should their titular occupation be defined by that network?" Last month, Tom Scott (YouTuber) was moved to Tom Scott (presenter), and the subject of the article made his views known in the discussion of the move. :I feel like YouTuber is the exception here, as that has more or less become a job if it's own. Otherwise I agree; titles like "streamer," "influencer" or, more generally, "content creator" make the most sense. --FeldBum (talk) 02:33, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

*I think we should stick with a disambiguator like "internet personality" and just apply it across the board, a good chunk of these are known on other platforms like Vine/Twitch/Instagram/X etc, including most of those you listed.--Ortizesp (talk) 19:32, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

* I think YouTuber is probably okay for those who really are focused on YouTube, but otherwise they should probably get a name like "internet personality" or "influencer". I don't think we can standardize on a single term. WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:07, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
