This is a subpage about my cats.

I own 2 male cats named Kuro and Shiro. Kuro is a black cat and he gets his name from the Japanese word for black (黒 kuro). Shiro is a white cat and, like Kuro, gets his name from the Japanese word for white (白 shiro).

They were born in April 2023 and adopted in June 2023. So I have had them for over a year.

But can I even call them cats?

They aren't even cats at this point, they are practically just humans. I have pictures of the 2 sitting on a chair at the dining room table with their paws on the table. I have pictures of Kuro sitting like a human on the couch. One day I walked into the living room and that's what I saw. I had to take a picture of him. I took quite a few. Dad also recently sent me a video of Shiro watching a performance on TV. He was just lying on the couch, staring at the TV, with his favorite toy next to him and some ear twitching too. And to top all of this off, Kuro can open doors. I think these human behaviors could be because we got the cats when they were just about 2 months old or something. I think they learned how to do these because they watched us and they were very young when adopted. Also, I forgot to mention, I think the cats, when eating wet food, will eventually start using their paws. I only think I have seen Shiro do it, and I have yet to take a photo or video of him eating with his paws.
