Andy first began writing songs a the age of 15. Later taking his songs around the 1650 Broadway building in New York at the age of 17 he became a staff writer for April Blackwood Music signed there by Tony Orlando (of Tony Orlando and Dawn fame). Then after leaving Yale University he set out to become a singer songwriter winding up on Warner Bros Records recording and releasing his album Andy Goldmark. In the late 70’s Andy lead his blue eyed soul group Wondergap releasing an album on A&M Records. After that and until 2021 Andy devoted himself to writing and producing songs for other artists.
