::What an article being "stable" means is that no editors have serious disagreements with the article content, and are in consensus. If you remove content, it must be for a better reason than "it doesn't make sense". It may not seem right to you, but to the consensus of editors it may. You can change this by discussing the changes on the talk page. From what I have taken you have already made a discussion post, so that is good.
