Mary Willett, nee Bagnall, 1850-1930, attributes the rebuilding (completed in 1872) of All Saints' Church, West Bromwich (the "old Church" of the borough) to his designs in "A History of West Bromwich" (1881) p 71. She is reliable - her husband was the Vicar and her father a Churchwarden - she names the architect as Mr Somers Clarke jun, and gives his office as at 3 Delahay Street Westminster. If so, this may have been his earliest major commission[[User:Delahays|Delahays]] ([[User talk:Delahays|talk]]) 12:07, 11 January 2021 (UTC) |
