:::I am aware of this, thank you for the reminder, however, the information is altered as to be factually different and unsupported. To my knowledge, the source makes no mention of other non officer crew members besides the assistant purser and surgeons. However, there is no comment as to the locations of where other crew members dined to my knowledge, leaving open the possibility that other crew members not mentioned also dined with passengers, which would make the claim in the article false. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Jbrill05 (talk) 21:24, 23 April 2026 (UTC) |

::::That is, in fact, sourced. I added a source for that specifically because you had an issue with the fact that the original source wasn't fully clear. I also mentioned that it does say exactly who does dine with passengers other than the captain, in the edit summary which you quoted above. ::I will only say that you haven't read the new source - a book on the crew of the Titanic - I added which both notes that the Chief and Assitant Purser are not officers, and that surgeons - who incidentally are honorary officers - and the assitant purser ALSO dined with the passengers, while noting the duties of the other crew in detail. |

::I heavily relied on the initial website to make this article, now I'm trying to add more information from other sources I have come across while working on new article. I found something contradicting the website, and I edited accordingly. Omnis Scientia (talk) 21:24, 23 April 2026 (UTC) |
