If the end date is the subject's last performance, release, etc. let's hear why that should be the date, and why it doesn't take considerable time to know for sure. With reliable sources. Same for any future self-stated retirement, with a source. If this has to do with arrest or even incarceration, I'm afraid that doesn't necessarily prevent an artist from creating and writing unless there's a reliable source that indicates cessation. There's precedence for similarly situated people continuing careers while detained. Feel free to chime in here or at BLPN. Cheers!
