Sources 89, 90, & 91 under "History": "Contemporary operations and activities" are of dubious relevance to the statement they appear to support. Sources display obvious bias, have little merit to an impartial observer. Recommend an edit removing the inflammatory term "human shields" or adding improved sources which more clearly demonstrate the relevance of such phrasing. :After reading the verifiability page, I believe that a [better source(s) needed] tag would be appropriate here. Arutz Sheva, The Jerusalem Post, and statements made by Benjamin Netanyahu quoted in CNN are sources with demonstrable conflict of interest. It is also perverse to cite the United Nations' position on standards of war and international law, when the source of these quotations around "human shields" are now apparently dedicated to discrediting the United Nations' authority and undermining the processes of international law.

:So, change: after sources 89, 90, 91, insert a "better sources needed" tag. [[Special:Contributions/~2026-25022-41|~2026-25022-41]] ([[User talk:~2026-25022-41|talk]]) 01:00, 25 April 2026 (UTC)

::{{not done}}''':''' I have instead removed the sentence in question entirely. The sources do not discuss the legality of the use of "human shields" under international law and are only reporting Israeli allegations. More to the point, a discussion of the legality of the Al-Qassam Brigades' actions is not relevant to that section of the article.
