Qavurt, the son of [[Chaghri Beg]], chose [[Nahavand]] and [[Kerman]]. Qavurt defeated the Buyid [[Abu Kalijar|ruler]]’s army in [[Kerman]] and Makran, and brought [[Kerman]] under his control.
