In June 2023, Mike released a new version of the classic ballad, "A Time for Love" featuring a flute solo by Maurice Gainen. The song and video were both produced by Mike Clifford and Maurice Gainen.

Within two weeks, "A Time for Love" reached the top five in the Reverb Nation LA Jazz Chart.

In 2025, Mike recorded a tribute to the late Jack Jones. One of his biggest Grammy winning hits “Wives and Lovers” was updated with a new recording and video by Mike Clifford and Maurice Gainen. Within weeks this new version made the top 10 of the LA Reverb Nation Jazz Chart.

On March 20, 2026 Mike released his version of the hit Sting song “Fields of Gold”. With a great new arrangement by Maurice Gaines, he also filmed a new video of the song. Reaction to this new recording and video ranged from awesome to the best video and recording yet! Within one week Mike’s version hit the LA Jazz Reverb Nation Chart top 5!
