|Jointly employed by and appointed as specialist in soil conservation at Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service and the US Soil Conservation Service (1935-1963); soil conservation lecturer throughout the state of Indiana at CCC camp meetings and demonstration project areas; conducted soil conservation schools in nearly every county in Indiana at Farmers Institutes; coordinator for demonstration farms program (test farm later became test demonstration farm project carried on in cooperation with the Tennessee Valley Authority); Executive Secretary of the Indiana Association of Soil & Water Conservation (1940-1958) establishing 57 of 85 soil conservation districts and enlarging 24 during that time; author of numerous publications on soil and water conservation. Bachelors degree in Agricultural Education (Purdue University, 1921); Masters of Science (Purdue University, 1944).
