The Liga de Verano ACB was first played in 1994 and contested by the top 8 teams of the [[Liga ACB]].{{cite web |publisher=ACB.COM |url=https://acb.com/es/liga/noticias/arranca-la-x-liga-de-verano-acb-en-alcoi-10432|website=www.acb.com |access-date=12 October 2023 |language=es |title=Liga Verano at Alcoy}} Double editions were played from 1995 until 2003. The last one was held in 2005.
==Format==
The Cup was played in a knock-out format in a neutral venue. The was tournament was played in a ''Final Eight'' format. The eight teams played a knockout tournament at one venue, over four days, every June.
