Following the [[1993 World Trade Center bombing]], it was discovered that one of the bombing planners, [[Abdul Rahman Yasin]], lived in an apartment in the Greenville neighborhood of Jersey City, which is also where the bomb was built with the other co-conspirators including [[Ramzi Yousef]]. The [[Ryder]] rental van used in the attack was rented from a Jersey City facility and the chemicals used for the bomb were stored in a local self-storage unit.{{cite web|url=https://www.cbsnews.com/news/60-minutes-the-man-who-got-away/|title=60 Minutes: The Man Who Got Away|work=60 Minutes|date=May 31, 2002|access-date=September 11, 2025}}{{cite web|url=https://www.911memorial.org/connect/blog/1993-world-trade-center-bombing-investigation|title=1993 World Trade Center Bombing Investigation|work=9/11 Memorial & Museum|access-date=September 11, 2025}} |
