Field was born in Langley, [[Worcestershire]] and died aged 73 in [[Stourbridge]].

== Career ==
Field made his debut for Worcestershire against [[Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club|Nottinghamshire]] at [[Tipton Road|Dudley]] at the end of August 1928.
