Pueng was born and raised in a poor household at [[Suphan Buri Province]]. She only finished grade 2, but has a dream to become a famous singer. She then went out of her home to [[Bangkok]] to meet [[Waiphot Phetsuphan]], a famous singer at that time, to work with him.
Ramphueng Chithan grows up in a poor farming family in [[Suphan Buri province|Suphan Buri]]. She starts singing at a very young age and went to competitions at school. Phueng wants a better life for herself and her family, so she decides to leave home and join the music group with [[Waiphot Phetsuphan]], where she starts as a housemaid.


She met [[Teeraphon Saensuk]], the [[saxophonist]] of Waiphot's band, which they fell in love with each other. Waiphot found out about this and later fired them. Both of them went to another music teacher called [[Mon Mueangnuea]] which he titled her the famous title name '''Pumpuang Duangjan'''
Her singing begins to caught the attention of Waiphot, as she becomes close to [[Teeraphon Saensuk]], a saxophonist in the band. Waiphot founds out aboout their relationship with each other and later kicked both of them out. The two leave together to search for another job, struggling through small performances and financial difficulties while continuing to pursue their dream in [[luk thung]] music.


Phueng later adopts the stage name Pumpuang Duangjan, a name from her teacher, [[Mon Mueangnuea]]. She gain popularity quickly and it spreads across [[Thailand]], making her one of the country’s biggest singers of all time.
Pueng starts singing into radio stations and got famous, then she starts performing at different places. But one day, her tour bus got into a car accident and many of the people that was associated to the tour got seriouslyh injured. But she got support by her fans and starts singing again. She dream of singing at [[Dusit Thani Bangkok]] which became true.


Pumpuang’s health begins to decline after she is diagnosed with [[systemic lupus erythematosus|lupus]]. Despite her illness, she continues performing out of dedication to music and her fans. As her condition worsens, she faces heartbreak and betrayal from those around her. The film ends with her death at the age of 31, leaving behind a legacy as one of Thailand’s most famous luk thung singers.
Later that year, Teeraphon breaks up with her and she suddenly starts to get tired by not getting a break from singing and later lived the rest of her life with her mom. She died by [[lupus|SLE]] at [[Buddhachinaraj Phitsanulok Hospital]] at the age of 31.
