Star7(*7) is an discontinued [[project]] of an [[Personal digital assistant|PDA]] capable of control household devices, like [[TV]] s, [[VHS players]], etc. It was created by [[Sun Microsystems]], and used [[Oak (programming language)|Oak]] (the project that [[Java (programming language)|Java]] inherited) in its [[Operating system|OS]].

The project was created in [[1991]], when the Green Team (team responsible for creating the [[Oak (programming language)|Oak]] project) tought in a PDA that used their new, interative language, Oak. It was a great project, but it was discontinued in [[1992]], because the companies didn't interested it it. It was selled 6 units of it.
