Sherlock is credited as a songwriter across the album and also had a hand in the production. The rest of the band were involved too, including producing the sound, so it was very much a group effort rather than something handled by one outside producer.
The album leans into Irish folk music, with mostly acoustic instruments. The album keeps things pretty simple and natural, focusing more on the feel of the band playing together in the room rather than layering or overworking the tracks in production.
