After being a comedic skit during a season five episode of "The Rookie" fans wanted a full version of the song which was then released for the 100th episode entitled [[The Hammer (The Rookie)|The Hammer]]. During the first time the song was featured, Hawley's character Rodge was singing the song about series lead John Nolan as played by [[Nathan Fillion]].
